We are now directing all members to our website via bcbsm.com.  This means that whether your ID card displays bcbsm.com or bcbsm/hcbo.com or hcbo.com, you will be directed to bcbsm.com.


Why bcbsm.com? Even though you live outside of Michigan, your company has health care coverage through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. 
When you visit bcbsm.com, you will need to register or log in to the Member Secured Services area. Even if you’ve already been registered at bcbsm.com/hcbo or hcbo.com, you may be prompted to reregister the first time you visit bcbsm.com.  We’re sorry for the inconvenience, but assure you that our new features will provide greater convenience and satisfaction.


An online tutorial is available on our Web site to view the new tools and features to enhance your online experience. Just go to bcbsm.com and you will see the link to the video right below the login.


Once you register, you'll be able to:

  • "Go green" and receive your Explanation of Benefit Payments statements electronically.
  • Access account, health plan and pharmacy information.
  • Take an interactive health assessment and receive a lifestyle score and tailored action plan.
  • Participate in online health coaching programs so you can achieve health goals identified by your health assessment.
  • Access extensive, up-to-date health content, including multimedia components like podcasts and videos.
  • Find and compare doctors and hospitals based on factors, like cost and quality, most important to you.
  • Check out the discounts we offer on health and wellness, family care and travel services through our Blue365® program.
