90-Day Retail Prescription Program

This program allows you to receive a 90-day prescription refill from participating walk-in pharmacies at a reduced cost.


All chain pharmacies and most independent pharmacies in Michigan participate in this program. Download the 90-Day Retail Pharmacy List (PDF) for a list of participating pharmacies near you.


To receive a 90-day refill at a participating retail pharmacy, these conditions must be met:

  • State laws approve the dispensing of a 90-day supply of your medication.
  • The prescription is written for a 90-day supply.
  • The prescription is a refill for a medication that you have been taking for at least 60 of the past 120 days under your BCBSM plan.
  • The prescription strength of the medication has not changed within the past 60 days.

Please note: The 90-Day Retail Prescription Program replaces the Maintenance Drug Program.
