Prescription Drug Discounts

You or a family member could be eligible for Affinity Rx, a free prescription drug discount program designed for individuals who buy their medical coverage through the Blues. Please see our Affinity FAQ (PDF) for answers to common questions.


To be eligible, you must:

  • Not have prescription drug insurance
  • Purchase your medical coverage as an individual, not through a group

There's no special card or fees. Simply show your BCBSM card to your pharmacist and request the discount. Discounts vary, but you can start shopping with our online Pricing Calculator. It calculates the average price paid by current members for common medications purchased using the Blues Affinity Rx discount.
