Blue Care Network Best Practices
The Best Practices page is a compilation of Best Practice articles that have appeared in BCN Provider News. The providers featured have exemplary outcomes in one or more of the Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set® measures or Centers for Medicare & Medicaid star ratings.
BCN Provider News wins awards
BCN Provider News received three 2010 Renaissance awards from the International Association of Business Communicators, Detroit chapter. The newsletter received two Awards of Merit: one for visual design and one for communications management. It also won an Award of Honor for technical skills such as writing and editing.
Here are some of the publication's features. For more information, refer to the BCN Provider News User Guide (PDF 1.17 MB).
- Search – Type a word in the Find box at the top of the page and then use the Find Next arrow to locate all instances of that word in the publication.
- Bookmarks – On the left side of your screen is a list of feature headings. Click on the feature heading to go to that section, or click on the plus sign to open a list of articles in that section. Click on an article title to go directly to it.
- Navigate – Use these navigation tools to explore the newsletter:
- Flip through using the arrows in the lower right corner
- Click on the feature headings in the colored boxes on the left
- Select a page number on the right.
- Link – Articles contain links to helpful Web sites, resources and email addresses. The links are in red.
- Print – You can print the entire publication or a specific page by clicking the printer icon at the top.
