In this tool, the Blue Cross team can view your employees’ preferred communication methods, available Blue Cross and non-Blue Cross benefits and programs and any available proactive recommendations to help your employees stay healthy and better utilize their benefits.
Advanced Analytics
Advanced analytics generate proactive recommendations based on care gaps and other advocacy and health care journeys. These recommendations provide your employees with suggested actions and behaviors to better manage their health and benefits or improve their overall healthcare experience. These recommendations include:
- Addressing gaps in care
- Better use of their plan network
- Clinical reminders
- Onboarding for plans and programs
- Operational recommendations such as account registration
- Vendor steerage and engagement
BCBSM Coordinated Care App
The BCBSM Coordinated Care mobile app offers personalized recommendations, simple connections to care teams and curated health and benefit content to support your employees’ needs. The app can be used (depending on which offering the employer has selected) to:
- Connect with a member advocate or care advocate
- Get expert guidance for non-urgent illness and injury from a care advocate
- Set appointment reminders and track medications
- View helpful articles and videos directly related to personal needs
Integrated Suite of Digital Tools
Our integrated suite of digital tools, through a Blue Cross member account at bcbsm.com and the Blue Cross mobile app, allow users to search for health care providers, review their benefits, estimate costs and research sites of care. With an online member account, your employees will also be able to:
- Keep track of deductibles, maximums and copays
- View their claims history
- View or change their primary care physician
- Manage their health spending account if applicable
