What is Blue Par Select?

Blue Par Select is a per-claim participation arrangement we offer to dentists who may not want to join a PPO network, but still want to receive payment directly from BCBSM and be part of BCBSM’s family for referrals. BPS dentists agree to accept the approved amount in our BPS fee schedule and not balance bill our members. BPS offers the freedom to choose which claims are participating or not, but it does not have the benefit of statewide name recognition that PPO networks provide to some employee groups.
