Blue Cross Complete joined Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan for Blues Day for Detroit Kids, in support of the Eagle Sports Club summer youth baseball league. Market President Paul Loffreda had the honor of throwing out the first pitch for game two.

Blue Cross Complete hosted a Mobile Dental Day on May 25 at the Durfee Innovation Society in Detroit. Participants received no-cost teeth cleanings and dental exams provided by Team Wellness Center, a provider in Blue Cross Complete’s dental network.

Blue Cross Complete hosted its sixth Community Baby Shower on May 5 at the Durfee Innovation Society in Detroit. New and soon-to-be moms and their families gathered for health education, baby item giveaways, community resource connections and health screenings.

Blue Cross Complete members now have access to MDLive®, a no-cost telehealth service that allows members to communicate directly with a doctor from their home or on the go. 

January 27, 2023: Chef Paul Penney Kicks Off 2023 Events at Blue Cross Complete Wellness and Opportunity Center
Blue Cross Complete hosted Chef Paul Penney for a healthy cooking demonstration at the Durfee Innovation Society in Detroit, the first in-person community event of the year. The Blue Cross Complete Wellness Center is located on the third floor of the Durfee Innovation Society. Members can visit for in-person assistance with resources, benefits questions, and more.

Grant funding has been awarded to 110 Michigan food pantries to improve access to nutrient-rich foods, including dairy and produce. Support for this initiative was provided by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, United Dairy Industry of Michigan and Blue Cross Complete.
