Blue Cross Complete providers that are new to our network will receive a face-to-face visit from a provider account executive. This visit is your opportunity to learn about Blue Cross Complete and how to make the most of our partnership.

March of Dimes® Dismantling Bias in Maternal and Infant Healthcare™ e-Learning Provider Training
Blue Cross Complete is excited to collaborate with the March of Dimes® to offer Dismantling Bias in Maternal and Infant Healthcare™ e-learning provider training at no cost to providers. Providers can earn 1.5 continuing medical education credits upon completion. Credits will count toward Michigan implicit bias training requirements.

Blue Cross Complete offers providers culturally and linguistically appropriate services training. Cultural diversity training provides an overview of CLAS (culturally and linguistically appropriate services) standards, legal requirements and local needs.

Health literacy
The CDC offers three online health literacy courses for health professionals. It’s recommended that you take the introductory course, “Health Literacy for Public Health Professionals,” first. The other two courses can be taken in any order.
Blue Cross Complete understands how important trust and a positive relationship between a patient and their health care provider can be to reducing barriers to care. For members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual and all sexual and gender minority people, or LGBTQ+ community, encountering discrimination and societal stigma increase the risk of poor physical and mental health outcomes.

The ADHD E-Learning course includes a review of symptoms and suggestions about how to incorporate evidence-based screening tools and appropriate follow-up treatment into your practice.

The Anxiety Disorders E-Learning course reviews anxiety disorder symptoms and how to incorporate an evidence-based screening tool and appropriate follow-up treatments into your practice.

The Depression E-Learning course gives providers an overview of depression, how to diagnosis, measure and treat it.
Opioid Use Disorder
The Opioid Use Disorder E-Learning course provides information on opioid use disorder, the opioid epidemic, guidelines for prescribing opioids and additional resources.
