Am I Eligible for Medicare Supplement Plans A, C or D?

If you're currently enrolled in Plans A, C or D, you can stay with your plan as long as you pay your premium.

Plan A

You're automatically eligible for Plan A if you're 65 or older. If you're under 65, you're eligible for Plan A if:

  • You'll no longer be insured because you've become eligible for Medicare, or
  • You've lost coverage under a group policy after becoming eligible for Medicare

Plan C

If you were eligible for Medicare prior to January 1, 2020, you're eligible for Plan C if:

  • You'll no longer be insured because you've become eligible for Medicare, or
  • You've lost coverage under a group policy after becoming eligible for Medicare

Plan D

You're automatically eligible for Plan D if you're 65 or older. If you're under 65, you're eligible for Plan D if:

  • You'll no longer be insured because you've become eligible for Medicare, or
  • You've lost coverage under a group policy after becoming eligible for Medicare

You can also enroll if you had Plan A, Plan C or Plan D, then enrolled in a Medicare Advantage plan and now would like to return to Plans A, C or D.
