You're probably used to seeing hotels and restaurants ranked on a five-star scale. Did you know Medicare plans are rated the same way?

Every year, the government looks at all the Medicare plans in the country. They review things like member satisfaction, patient safety and customer service. Then, they give each plan a rating from one to five stars, where five is the best. These star ratings make it easy to compare the quality of plans as you shop.
